Ofttimes, when witnessing, we don’t get the chance to witness to an atheist but a member from some sort of religion. A common group I witness to are those from the Mormon church. Idaho’s population is 25% Mormon so it comes as no surprise that I know so many of them. Anyway, lately I compiled a list of tips on how to witness to people from other religions.
Quote the religion’s scripture and leaders to show its errors
Discuss doctrine, not the people behind them
Do not criticize the leaders
Rely on facts, not emotions
Share only the Truth
Take into account that the person might not know all the doctrines of the church
Explain the differences between the religion’s Jesus and Jesus
Explain the differences between the religion’s God and God
Share the whole Gospel with them
Share the Truth in love
