I am really surprised when people label a human baby as not human. What kind of reasoning goes into that? How can a human baby not be a human? I wonder what those people would call a cheetah’s cub? Or an elephant’s calf? Or a chicken’s chick?
Would not the cub, calf and chick all be called a cheetah, a elephant and a chicken? So, if we call these animal’s offspring by their parent’s identity, why do we say a human baby is not a human?
What a twisted world we live in that a baby, of which we all were once, is not labeled as a human. If I ever encounter someone who says it isn’t a human, I’m going to ask them, “what kind of baby is it? Is it a cheetah’s? A elephant’s? A chicken’s?” I’d love to see their response.
